Best club for bangor students and halls residents for free entry.
I visited Academi on the 17th and had an awful time. Walking down Glanarafon hill my group and I were approached by a rep to buy ticketes. We politely declined as we owned campus life wrist bands(get in for 1 after midnight). She then explained that she had just spoke to her boss and the wrist bands wouldnt work tonight and if we bought tickets off of her it would be 2 and 3 at the door. We arrived at academi where the girl who was working reception said we would have been let in for free with our wristbands... we let it go as there was nothing we could do about it. When inside I left the group to buy my first drink... there wasnt many people inside at this point so the que was very short it took me at least 15 minutes to be served after watching people who arrived after me being served first... I again returned to buy my second drink to which I waited HALF AN HOUR to be served! I waited for 20 minuted pationatly as I understand this line of work... my friend eventually came to find me and was shocked to realise I still hadnt been served. I eventually told the member of staff to serve me first as he was going to serve the group of girls next to me who had just arrived. He severed me and my card declined(dont know why) and didnt tell me. He carried on serving while I stood in wait for another 10 minuets for my drink that was never coming. My friend eventually bought me a drink because I was being ignored... absolutely disgusting serveice that ruined the entire night!

Goood fun, good music, bit pricey but yeah good
Typical student night out. Small place with only one room but most nights that I have attended I have enjoyed. Drinks take a while to get and generally seems like more of a school disco but you get what you expect here and nothing less.
