There are actually four car parks that are in close proximity to Tryfan. Two are roadside, one is lay-by that gets used as a car park and then there is an actual off road parking area. All are free to use. The most westerly is roadside but is the closest to base of Tryfan. But to be honest - who cares really... it's all about the mountain anyway!
Tryfan, fabulous, strenuous scramble to the top, worth it for the views, quite hard to find the way as there are well trodden paths in every direction and if you don't know this beauty...be careful! Two stones stand proud at the top, Adam n Eve, jump from one to the other and it is said you will have the Freedom of Tryfan!
