Last minute booking pets allowed and welcome nice relaxing atmosphere
Has seen better days. The establishment is in need of some TLC. The lunchtime menu was average, though not cheap, but was hot and well prepared. Service was actually very good and staff quite accomodating, but not sure we would go again. One plus point - the pub was dog-friendly and gave him a bowl!
Absolutely lovely little hotel. Me and the Mrs loved it and the food is really nice.
Myself and my 4 disabled dogs are here now for just one night. We are here to give a talk to wonderful students at Bangor University .the owner the hotel loved my digs so much . They are all rescues and paralysed from around the world . So in nappies and wheels .He gave us the room free. The room is very clean . Bathroom may need up dating but there is everything you could want .Very clean I must say. We are on the top floor so it's quiet for us as its a students pub .But again staff carried the pushchair upstairs for me with the disabled dogs in it .The generosity and kindness been shown over shines the decoration .
This is an OK hotel, but what really makes it is the view. From one side, you have views of the Menai Strait, and on the other, you have views of the Snowdonia National Park. The rooms are relatively inexpensive and pretty large. The beds aren't uncomfortable, but they certainly aren't luxurious. Overall, the hotel is fairly shabby, and there is some pretty heavy water damage in the front entry to the hotel. But as affordable as this place is, it is really to be expected. Also, the the place is dog friendly. Another nice part is, they will cook you a breakfast to order. Technically, it's supposed to be a continental breakfast, but the cook will fix you a Full English, if you ask. It has free parking, which is hard to find in the area.
