This review is of DW as a compamy and not just this specific gym. If you are thinking of signing up with them be warned! They are scammers, they are rude, they have to morals, no customer service to speak off, no ethics and they completely disregard consumer rights. Their contracts are illegal and in breach of consumer rights act. Yet they try to enforce them by harassing people and instructing debt collectors. My review is not the only one to say this, so this is a wide spread practice for them. If you think of signing up with them - don't! You will live to regret it when they won't let you cancel and harras you 3 years down the line. If you already signed up and want to cancel, report them to Citizen Advice Bureu. They will report then to trading standards. The more reports they get, the sooner they will act.

What a bunch of cheats ! My mum tried to cancel her memebership, and they kept on deducting money from her account and told her (and she is 80 years old !) that she needed a doctors note! She went to the doctors and the doctor said he could not write a note. She was given the run around, l;eading to a lot of stress, which she does not need. I would never join their so-called fitness centre!

Great equipment, Great Classes, Great pool facilities.. please get a fountain in the pool area.

A great gym with friendly helpful staff, about everything you could ever want from a equipment point of view and the pool area is great and we'll maintained too.As a Bangor university student myself I prefer DW as it's a lot less crowded and I feel easier to workout at with less booking bullshit. The store upstairs is great and very well stocked and I often use my members discount and was surprised the other day to receive a free pass for a friend when purchasing.Overall a great gym and shop, would and have recommended it to many friends.

The gym is ok however be warned a lot of the pool is taken up with kids swimming lessons its hard to exercise in the space that left in the pool especial when there are children in the main part of the pool waiting for their lesson, splashing about with their parents. I also very much dislike the company policy that you have to give a months notice before cancelling your membership. Most companies nowadays such as amazon or Netflix, allow you to cancel whenever you want and not to be forced to pay for things you are not going to use. I would recommend the Bangor university gym as it offers better weights training equipment and a lower cost. you do miss out on the pool , but with the amount of kids in it , you don't miss much.
