We were referred to the vet for treatment on our dog's tooth. From the moment we stepped in we were aware of everything that needed doing from an obviously experienced and technical vet. We couldn't have left our dog in better hands and would highly recommend their vetinary services. Thank you again.
Reviewing on behalf of a friend who had a horrifying experience with this vet. She and her husband made the difficult decision to take their 17 yr old dog to get put to sleep, as anyone who has experienced this its very upsetting but for most a peaceful process. She chose to stay outside while her husband took their dog in due to being too upset and she could actually hear the sounds of pain her dog was making from outside the building. Most vets these days choose to sedate animals before administering the euthanasia drug - and for good reason. I'm not one to leave bad reviews (and Ive not even gone into full detail here) but too disturbed by this not to, this vets methods are out of date, for your animals sake please look for someone else.
My dogs and cats love Dr. Barbour-Hill, and he's always kind and attentive to them. He cares much more for them than he does insurance or other bells and whistles, and will be straightforward and honest about their care. Both of my parents are veterinarians, and I grew up in various clinics. I'd rather have an established vet who has a lot of experience under their belt, and cares for the animals, than a corporate practice with fancy computers and a herd of just-graduated vets any day!
One of the best vets I've ever seen. Has treated my hamsters and mouse. Brilliant prices and very knowledgable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
