This is the only b and b I have stayed in where I declined the cooked breakfast after the first day. The toast was made with lowest quality supermarket bread, the jams were off the value shelf and the yogurts were all fat free. After the first day, the Alpen ran out and they was no other muesli. The hotel was closing for refurbishment the week after I was there; I imagine they were clearing out old stock. However, the bed was comfortable. Zakk, the duty manager while I was there, was great.
Lovely rooms, plenty of space. Nice quiet spot. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this B&B
Spotless well furnished room with everything you need from shoe shine kit to wine glasses and corkscrew. Mini bar and fridge we're very welcome. Beautifully presented and cooked breakfast included. However room was a little on the tight side and your knees touched the wall on the loo, lots of lovely hot water though. Personally I prefer a B&B with a bit more atmosphere ashbrook was as quite as a doctors waiting room.
We stayed in this B&B for one night. Nothing but praise. A warm welcome, a nice room with en-suite and separate wardrobe. The shower was luxury, so much water. The room we were in was tastefully decorated and all you need of small amenities is available, also in the bathroom.The breakfast was served as agreed, in time and with sufficient choice. As I said, nothing but praise.
Thanks to Zakk and Susan for an awesome stay. Zakk is a warm and welcoming host.The room we were given was lovely. Our en suite was spotless. The mini kitchen was unexpected! Overall, the facilities were perfect for our needs. The location is also great. Shame it was so cold- but we can't control the weather..... Breakfast was brilliant. (I had fruit, then lovely soft poached eggs with wholemeal toast, juice and coffee - but the choice was vast!)Highly recommend
